About

Christy-Dale Sims is currently working toward her PhD in Communication from the University of Colorado. She is also working toward completion of both the Women and Gender Studies Program Certificate and the Graduate Teaching Christy-Dale is a Graduate Part Time Instructor for the University, teaching Interpersonal Communication. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in Communication Studies, and her M.A. from the University of Colorado. Her research interests include Critical/Cultural Studies, Critical Rhetoric, and masculinity and whiteness.  Her current research projects include rhetorically analyzing the US passport, and reexamining the concept of "intersectionality" in gender studies.
